Job Summary
Provide exceptional care to residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual challenges by implementing individualized programs and encouraging skill development through active treatment activities. Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing and dressing, while administering medication and performing housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry. Transport clients to appointments and activities, and participate in planning social, home, and recreational events. Record all observations and daily progress notes to track individualized support plans. Complete required two-week training on daily living skills and personal development goals before starting employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions
- Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening
- Completion of training is required at the start of employment
