Job Summary
Provide exceptional care to residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual challenges by assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and medication administration. Implement individualized programs, record daily progress notes, and introduce skill development through active treatment activities. Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities while assisting with meals and performing housekeeping duties. Transport clients to appointments and activities using Verland vehicles. Complete two weeks of paid training covering daily living skills and personal development goals before starting employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions
- Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening
- Completion of training is required at the start of employment
