Job Summary
Direct Support Professional needed for part-time shifts (Fri 5p-10p, Sat and Sun 9a-7p) in a residential setting. Responsibilities include supervising and training adults with developmental disabilities, implementing program plans, teaching independent living skills (mobility, budgeting, personal hygiene, meal prep), ensuring safety and cleanliness, administering medications per medical orders, coordinating with program staff, maintaining records and reports, and supporting community activities. Must be able to communicate medical concerns promptly, participate in training, and work with teams to promote residents’ growth and well-being. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent (preferred) and a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; physical ability to assist individuals supported as needed.
