Job Summary
Provide personal support in the residence of a person served, supervising and training adults with developmental disabilities to promote growth toward their highest potential. Implement individualized programs, teach independent living skills, and ensure the home is personalized to each person’s needs. Maintain safety and cleanliness, administer medications per Physician Medical Order Form (PMOF) and Medication Administration Record (MAR), document through monthly/incident/activity reports, and communicate with program staff. Transport individuals to appointments and activities, collaborate with families and staff, and participate in trainings. Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; CPR and emergency procedure knowledge; strong interpersonal skills and a respectful, patient approach.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, pull, and push adequate weight to assist individuals supported (may be more than 50 pounds)
