Job Summary
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines such as cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene. DSPs monitor health needs, assist with skill development, participate in community activities, and ensure accurate documentation. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to build supportive relationships while exercising good judgment in crisis situations.
Required Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
