Job Summary
Teach and demonstrate community living skills to consumers with developmental disabilities while promoting independence and maintaining relationships with families and outside professionals. Assist with daily routine operations including meal preparation, planning, budgeting, cleaning, transportation, and recreational opportunities, and provide safety training to all consumers. Work a 4 to 5 day week in 8 to 10 hour shifts with weekend availability and flexible scheduling. This role is part of Flathead Industries' mission to create opportunities for people with disabilities by helping individuals accomplish their life goals.
Required Qualifications
- education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
- completion of occupationally-specific training
- Ability to pass a criminal and other background checks
- Possession of a Montana Driver's license
- maintain a good driving record
