Job Summary
Provide full support for daily routines including total hygiene care, cooking, laundry, housekeeping, transportation to day programs and appointments, and medication administration. Assist a group of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with activities such as hearing stories, dining out, and attending community events while promoting independence and advocating for their rights. Maintain clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care. Requires a valid driver's license with two years of experience, ability to lift 75 pounds, and completion of Medication Technician Training. Schedule is 20 hours per week, every other weekend from 9 AM to 9 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points
- Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed
- Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)
