Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional role involves assisting the Adult Day Manager in facilitating social and recreational activities for participants in the Adult Day Program at Easterseals-Goodwill. Key responsibilities include ensuring client safety, physical support, and documentation of services provided. Applicants must possess a current driver's license, a clean driving record, and have the ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications. Physical tasks such as lifting clients and operating adaptive equipment are required. This position is well-suited for individuals who are kind, patient, and enjoy helping others.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver’s license and clear driving record
- Proof of vehicle insurance
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- Ability to obtain Department of Transportation certification to operate the Adult Day transportation van.
Desired Qualifications
- Program development and implementation skills preferred.
