Job Summary

Provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including personal hygiene, medication administration, household chores, and community activities. Safely drive company vehicles to appointments and manage financial tasks while supervising medical, social, and emotional needs. Resolve minor issues, escalate concerns, and report accidents or emergencies following mandated reporter procedures. Maintain accurate documentation, complete required training, and provide on-the-job training to new team members. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a cross-trained team across multiple locations.

Required Qualifications

At least 18 years old
Ability to work with people of different abilities, genders, ages, cultures, and ethnicities
Ability and willingness to assist individuals with activities of daily living including bathing and toileting
Ability and willingness to support individuals with challenging behavior
Valid driver's license
Access to a personal auto
Driving record that meets Hammer's insurance requirements
Must receive a MN DHS Background study clearance
Show freedom from Tuberculosis
Must be able to successfully complete all required training
