Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, fostering independence while ensuring health and safety needs are met. Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily life activities, including meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment. Offer personal care assistance and complete various household tasks. This role is ideal for candidates without experience, including high school graduates and retirees, with training provided in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration. A personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served
- Valid (Ohio) driver's license and car insurance
- Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
- Must be available for weekend shifts
