Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes, fostering independence while ensuring health and safety needs are met. Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily life activities, including completing household tasks such as meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment. Offer personal care assistance and transport individuals served using a reliable personal vehicle. Requires a valid Ohio driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Full-time employment offers paid training in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration, along with a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served
- Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance
- Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
