Job Summary
Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), where you will empower individuals by promoting independence and fostering inclusion in both residential and community settings. Key responsibilities include implementing person-centered supports, assisting with daily routines, documenting activities, and supporting individuals' medical needs. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to perform physical tasks, and a compassionate approach to care. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Demonstrate competency in essential job functions
- Obtain and maintain a clear criminal background clearance
- Have and maintain an active U.S. driver’s license
- Strong communication skills
- High School proficiency in reading and writing English
- Ability to perform physical tasks
- Successful completion of Medication Administration Training course
