Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) role in Sioux Center, IA. Responsibilities include providing support based on individual service plans to meet physical, mental, emotional, and social needs; assisting with activities of daily living such as hygiene, escort, transition times, and mealtime; teaching self-control and self-management skills; completing client logs and charts within 24 hours of shifts; helping clients follow daily schedules; coordinating appointments and transportation; promoting safety and following procedures. Requires HS diploma or GED/HSED (preferred), good communication and basic computer skills, ability to exercise sound judgment, completion of medication administration training, and a valid Class C driver’s license. Required Qualifications
