Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) responsible for providing support, supervision, and daily assistance to adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities in staffed residential homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, personal care, community activities, documentation, transportation, and implementing behavior support plans within a team-based, person-centered residential setting. Requires weekend/holiday availability, valid driver’s license, background check, CPR/First Aid, and compliance with training and safety requirements. Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Have experience supporting adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred
- Successfully complete all required agency and regulatory training requirements
- Maintain First Aid and CPR certification requirements
- Pass required criminal background screenings
- Pass pre-employment and random drug testing
- Possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
- Maintain current automobile insurance
- Be dependable and available for assigned weekend and holiday shifts
