Direct Support Professional DSP

Support individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities in engaging with community, social, recreational, educational, or employment activities. Assist with developing independent living and social skills, including budgeting, communication, and self-care, while providing transportation and supervision during community outings and events. Monitor, document, and report progress, behaviors, and incidents in accordance with agency and DDD policies to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of individuals at all times. Collaborate with family members, case managers, and team members to implement individualized service plans. Participate in required training, meetings, and continuing education as mandated by DDD and agency standards.
