Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, fostering independence while ensuring health and safety needs are met. Supervise, teach, and assist clients in daily life activities, prepare meals, maintain living environments, and facilitate community outings and appointments. This role requires a personal vehicle, valid Ohio driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Full training is provided, including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications. Compensation ranges from $17.25 to $18.25 per hour with various schedules available for part-time or full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served
- Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance
- Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
- Must be available for weekend shifts
