Job Summary
Assist students with autism in daily living skills, including personal care and meal planning, while implementing behavioral interventions to promote positive behaviors. Provide direct support during therapy sessions for ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapists. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized education plans and behavioral intervention plans. Facilitate communication between staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions. Work flexible community habilitation and respite shifts Monday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in supporting individuals with autism
- Ability to assist with daily living skills
- Knowledge of behavioral interventions and strategies
- Experience providing support in ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy services
- Ability to facilitate communication between staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions
- Availability for Monday-Thursday schedule
- Availability for Friday and Saturday schedule
