Job Summary
Overnight Direct Support Professional providing personal care, safety, and medication assistance for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, dressing, toileting as needed; ensuring safety and well-being during the overnight shift; following Individual Support Plans (ISP); administering medications per agency policy; light housekeeping; documenting daily notes, behaviors, and concerns; promoting independence and meaningful daily living; and maintaining a calm, respectful environment. Requires valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks and MVR, and TB testing as needed. Training is provided. Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday plus every other Saturday, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Pay: $16.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license (TN, KY, or AL; military exceptions may apply)
- Ability to read, follow directions, and communicate in writing
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and maintain a clear MVR
- Ability to attend and pass all required training
- TB test within the last 12 months
