Job Summary
Assist students with autism in daily living skills, meal planning, and personal care while implementing behavioral interventions to promote positive behaviors. Provide direct support during therapy sessions for ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy services, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized education plans and behavioral intervention plans. Facilitate communication between staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions, and maintain accurate documentation of student progress. Schedule includes 3.5 hours Monday through Thursday and 3 hours on Friday and Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy services
- Ability to implement behavioral interventions and strategies to reduce challenging behaviors
- Ability to facilitate communication between staff, students, and families
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and interventions
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
- Ability to assist with personal care, meal planning, and other daily living activities
- Ability to work Monday-Thursday, any time of the day, preferably around 12pm
- Ability to work Friday and Saturday, 3 hours a day, anytime of the day
