Job Summary
Coach and mentor individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through workshops in art, music, games, and life enrichment activities. Teach daily living skills including cooking, money management, and community volunteering while providing direct personal care and behavioral interventions. Lead fun outings and manage housekeeping duties such as cleaning and cooking to foster independence. Collaborate with the team to create a safe environment and report daily outcomes in the electronic documentation system. Requires 6+ months experience, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Monday through Friday part-time schedule with weekends off.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months or more experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company van
- Comfortable providing personal care and behavioral support
- Must be able to lift and transfer 50 lbs
- Proficient with basic computer skills and able to learn new systems
- Good communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members

- Experience in caregiving, education, behavioral health, or another human services role
