Job Summary
Provide personal care assistance and support individuals in daily activities, including grooming and mobility; help develop independent living skills; implement ISP goals; facilitate social and recreational activities; monitor health and safety, administer medications as needed; use positive behavioral interventions; maintain accurate documentation and logs; collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals; respond promptly to emergencies; may involve lifting/mobility assistance; requires HS diploma, CPR/First Aid, valid driver’s license if applicable, and willingness to obtain needed certifications; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; background check required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility needs as required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to complete and pass a background check per company standards
