Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide care to adults with autism and developmental disabilities by assisting with daily living skills like budgeting, meal preparation, and personal support. Responsibilities include health & safety monitoring, community integration and advocacy, and promoting freedom of choice. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and completion of DSP certification within 6 months of hire. Competitive salary ranges from $16-$17/hour, commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license & use of reliable vehicle with current insurance
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification, or successful completion of the full DSP course within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
- CRMA Certified preferred
