Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Community Day Aide provides life-enriching activities and supports daily living skills, community and social awareness, leisure, recreational and educational activities; performs personal cares with discretion and respect; drives to various activities with an insured vehicle; MFA-enabled company email access; full-time schedule Monday–Friday 8:30 am–3:30 pm; Stevens Point, WI; offers a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision and 401(k) with company match. Responsibilities require problem-solving, caregiver support, and empowerment of individuals with disabilities within Day Services settings and community contexts.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- One (1) year of experience working with persons with disabilities or in nursing or home health care positions
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record and insured vehicle for daily use
- Ability to perform personal cares in a discreet, respectful manner
- Ability to support individuals in Day Services programming
