Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Direct Support Professional providing person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Carrollton, TX. Responsibilities include direct care, assisting with daily routines (cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, personal hygiene), monitoring health and medical needs, supporting learning and development of independent and community-based skills, participating in community, social, and recreational activities, transporting individuals to medical appointments and activities, completing program documentation and billable records, and building a supportive network with community members and families. Requires HS diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; ability to exercise good judgment in crises; background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing checks are required.
