Job Summary
Empower children with autism and disabilities to develop daily life skills through personalized plans of care. Encourage resident independence, plan community events and outings, and communicate regularly with families and guardians. Maintain accountability within the supportive care team while adapting to dynamic daily needs. Weekend availability is required, with various shifts including evenings and overnights available. This role supports children within Bancroft's Pediatric and Adolescent Residential Program, fostering lasting bonds and personal growth in a close-knit environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Work well in teams and are open to learning new skills
- Have the ability and willingness to work weekends
- Have a current driver's license in good standing
- Weekend availability is required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
