Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) needed to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. Responsibilities include building relationships, assisting with ADLs, supporting community participation and employment, using adaptive tools for communication, promoting independence, monitoring health and safety, coordinating with Abound Health team and families, and completing documentation and ongoing training. Flexible schedules (full-time and part-time), weekly pay, paid onboarding/training, signing bonus, and opportunities for advancement. No formal degree required; comprehensive benefits offered based on hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
- Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
- Lifting may be required, depending on client needs
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required — we provide paid training and support
