Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) providing hands-on caregiving and daily living support to individuals with IDD. Responsibilities include building positive relationships, assisting with ADLs (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks), supporting community participation, employment, and social activities; using adaptive tools to facilitate communication; promoting independence and skill development; monitoring health and safety; documenting and coordinating with the Abound Health team; completing ongoing training and professional development. Flexible schedules with full-time and part-time opportunities, paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement and a $1,000 signing bonus. Requires age 18+, valid driver’s license, transportation, and passing background checks; lifting may be required; no prior experience with disabilities required due to paid training.
