Job Summary
Provide direct care and support in a residential setting by assisting individuals in implementing their person-centered supports and individual Support Plans (ISP). Responsibilities include daily care and companionship, personal care (bathing, dressing, bathroom assistance, housekeeping), meal preparation according to diet plans, administration of medications under nurse supervision, transporting individuals to medical appointments, outings, and errands, and facilitating activities to enhance quality of life. Maintain accurate reporting and documentation aligned with medical orders, state requirements, abuse reporting, and internal procedures. Participate in program planning and ongoing education; contribute to a safe, clean, and compliant residence; demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication, uphold AbleLight values, and support individuals to achieve personal goals and meaningful daily activities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required unless directed by state regulations
- Experience: 0 Years
- Lic or Cert Program specific based on state requirements: may or may not need a Driver's License with no negative Motor Vehicle Record findings
