Job Summary
Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility while implementing Individualized Service Plans. Provide companionship, administer medication, and support transportation to appointments and community outings. Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required. This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities to lead independent lives within New Jersey's community-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Required training certifications such as CPR and First Aid to be completed through approved providers
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred)
