Job Summary
Provide personal care assistance including dressing and grooming, and offer transportation for client errands, appointments, and community outings. Spend time on clients' favorite hobbies and activities while assisting with everyday tasks such as meal preparation. Participate in community integration efforts to empower independence for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Work one-on-one in home and community settings with flexible scheduling options ranging from part-time to up to 40 hours weekly. Earn up to $19/hour based on experience with weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and access to health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide clients with transportation to and from appointments, errands and community outings
