Job Summary
Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping. Provide companionship and emotional support while fostering independence, and encourage community integration through social activities, medical appointments, and recreational events. Implement individualized care plans and support life skills development in communication, job readiness, and social interaction. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies. Full-time role in Carmel, IN; requires valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and background check. Prior direct care or CNA experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in direct care, care giving, or healthcare support
- CNA, HHA, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
