Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, fostering independence while ensuring health and safety needs are met at all times. Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily life activities, including personal care and completing household tasks such as meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment. This role requires a personal, reliable vehicle with a valid Ohio driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Full-time positions offer a salary of $17.25-$18.25 per hour in Toledo, OH, with paid training in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served
- Valid (Ohio) driver's license and car insurance
- Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
- Must be available for full time and Part time positions
