Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Responsibilities include supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of daily life, and completing household tasks such as meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment. Training is provided in CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration; opportunities include a variety of flexible schedules and a benefits package for full-time staff. This role emphasizes helping individuals maintain health, safety and increased independence across all shifts in Pemberville, OH and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served
- Valid (Ohio) driver's license and car insurance
- Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
