Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, fostering independence while ensuring health and safety needs are met. Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily life activities and complete household tasks such as meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment. Offer personal care assistance and transport individuals served using a personal, reliable vehicle with a valid Ohio driver's license. Maintain physical ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs and climb, balance, kneel, and crouch. This role offers paid training in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration for candidates without prior experience, with flexible schedules available for full-time or part-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served
- Valid (Ohio) driver's license and car insurance
- Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
