Job Summary
Direct Support Professional responsibilities include providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes; supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of daily life; completing household tasks such as meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment; providing personal care assistance; training for CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration is provided, with a range of flexible schedules and benefits for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and car insurance
- Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
- Personal, reliable vehicle available for transporting individuals served
- Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and to climb, balance, kneel and crouch
