Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) role providing individualized daily living support to individuals with disabilities in an adult residential setting. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and community outings; fostering independence through life-skills development; promoting social inclusion and serving as a positive, empathetic role model. Collaborates with DSPs, supervisors, and families to support client well-being and community engagement. Requires a valid NYS Driver's License (18+ months) with a clean driving history and successful completion of Brightway Transportation Orientation; new hires meeting criteria receive the standard rate (starting at $21.00–$23.10/hour typically with $19.00/hour for those not meeting criteria).
