Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide individualized support to individuals with disabilities, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and facilitating community inclusion. This role requires you to nurture independence by helping clients develop life skills and make choices, while serving as a positive role model. Ideal candidates are empathic, compassionate, and enthusiastic, with strong communication abilities. A clean NYS Driver's License for at least 18 months is necessary, and new hires who do not meet this requirement will start at a lower wage.
