Job Summary
Empower individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities by supporting their personal growth and encouraging independence through personalized plans of care. Plan community events and outings to build connections while communicating regularly with residents' families and guardians. Assist people in developing skills for daily life within a stable, community-based environment for those with autism and disabilities. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a current driver's license, and the ability to work weekends. The current hiring range is $19.06-$19.44 per hour. Various shifts including days, evenings, and overnights are available across locations in Pompton Lakes, Oakland, Dumont, and Montville, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Have a current driver's license in good standing
- Work well in teams
- Open to learning new skills
- Have the ability and willingness to work weekends
