Job Summary
Empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop daily life skills through personalized plans of care. Encourage resident independence and plan community-building events and outings. Communicate regularly with residents, families, and guardians while belonging to a supportive team that holds one another accountable. Work part-time on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 2pm to 11:30pm, 9pm, or 11pm respectively at an hourly rate of $19.06-$19.44. Weekend availability is required for this role within Bancroft's Adult Residential North program.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Work well in teams
- Open to learning new skills
- Have the ability and willingness to work weekends
- Have a current driver's license in good standing
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
