Job Summary
Empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop daily life skills through personalized plans of care. Encourage resident independence and plan community-building events and outings. Communicate regularly with residents, families, and guardians while maintaining accountability within the team. Work Wednesday through Saturday from 3pm to 11:30pm, with weekend availability required. This role supports adults with autism and neurological rehabilitation needs at our Adult Residential North program, fostering lasting bonds within a close-knit team of 2,700 employees across multiple facilities.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Work well in teams
- Open to learning new skills
- Have the ability and willingness to work weekends
- Have a current driver's license in good standing
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
