Job Summary
Assist clients with daily tasks including hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping while implementing goals from their Individual Support Plan. Accompany individuals on community outings, appointments, and errands, providing safe transportation using your own vehicle. Respond calmly to medical or behavioral emergencies and ensure safety in home and community settings. Maintain regular communication with the administrative team and accurately complete all required documentation and reporting. This role requires weekends, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prior experience as a DSP or in a similar caregiving/support role
- Comfortable supporting individuals with high behavioral needs
- Available to work weekends (required)
- Own reliable transportation for use in transporting clients
- Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance (minimum 100k/300k liability coverage)
- Smartphone with internet access for documentation
- Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check
