Job Summary
Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, including assistance with daily living activities (personal care, meal preparation, medication administration) and ensuring safety. Promote independence and community integration, document and maintain records of services, advocate for rights and needs, maintain confidentiality under HIPAA, and participate in required trainings. Requires a valid driver’s license and high school diploma/GED; able to drive a 15-passenger van and to work in-person in Peekskill, NY. Roles include Full-time, Part-time, and Per-Diem with a $1,750 sign-on bonus after six months.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma/GED
- Comfortable driving a 15-passenger van (road tested)
- Must attend CPR, SCIP, AMAP trainings within 6 months of hire
- Comfortable with daily use of technology (computer, email, phone, typing)
- Effective verbal and written communication
