Job Summary
Direct Support Professional providing direct care in individuals' homes, assisting with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep), helping develop independent living skills, transporting to appointments and activities, administering medications as required, maintaining documentation, and completing required trainings. Strong communication with clients, families, and team members; commitment to confidentiality and privacy; includes part-time schedule with every-other weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license if driving is required
- No more than two minor moving violations in the past 3 years
- No major violations in the past 5 years
- Ability to pass a background check
- CBRF Certifications required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
