Direct Support Professional (DCF)

Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Moonachie, NJ. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines (cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, personal hygiene), monitoring health needs, supporting learning and development of independent and community-based skills, facilitating participation in community activities, transporting individuals to medical appointments and activities, and completing program documentation and billable records. Build and maintain relationships with community members, businesses, and families. Must cooperate with license and department staff during inspections or inquiries. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; successful completion of background checks and drug testing is required.
