Job Summary
Assist individuals with disabilities in daily living, hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility within residential homes, day programs, or community settings. Provide behavioral supports and transport clients using reliable transportation and approved vehicles when required. Maintain verbal and written communication skills while completing mandatory training and background clearance renewals. Work flexible hours at a competitive hourly rate with paid training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job
- at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Approved Background Clearance Application, through the Office of Licensing annually
- Specific language abilities (other than English)
- Reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting people, if applicable
- Access to a telephone
- ability to meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned
- valid Driver's License
- acceptable Driving Record
- current auto insurance that meet minimum requirements of RISE insurance policies
