Job Summary
Assist consumers with developmental disabilities in skill development across independent living, adaptive behaviors, socialization, and activities of daily living. Supervise individuals in the community while reinforcing skills learned in group sessions and ensuring safety. Lead group discussions to facilitate learning for community application. Assess needs of lower functioning or non-verbal consumers through observation to develop valued outcomes. Provide annual and semi-annual progress reports on outcomes and ensure compliance with the Day Habilitation Plan. Submit weekly documentation of progress for each individual. Requires AMAP certification, SCIP-R training, and CPR/First Aid; offers $20/hour with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 403(b).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year experience providing direct care services to adults with a developmental disability
- AMAP certified
- SCIP-R trained
- CPR & First Aid Trained
