Job Summary
Assist consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities in skill development across independent living, adaptive behaviors, socialization, and activities of daily living. Supervise individuals in the community while leading group sessions to reinforce learned skills and ensure safety. Assess the needs of lower-functioning or non-verbal consumers through observation to develop valued outcomes, then provide weekly documentation and annual progress reports in accordance with the Day Habilitation Plan. Ensure compliance with the Individualized Service Plan and Day Habilitation Plan while facilitating discussions that promote community integration.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year experience providing direct care services to adults with a developmental disability
- AMAP certified
- SCIP-R trained
- CPR & First Aid Trained

- Associates Degree
