Job Summary
Assist consumers with developmental disabilities in skill development across independent living, adaptive behaviors, socialization, and activities of daily living. Supervise individuals in community settings while leading group sessions to reinforce learned skills. Assess needs of lower-functioning or non-verbal consumers through observation to develop and address valued outcomes. Provide weekly documentation of progress and submit annual and semi-annual reports on outcomes aligned with the Day Habilitation Plan. Ensure compliance with ISP and Day Habilitation Plans through regular input.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year experience providing direct care services to adults with a developmental disability
- AMAP certified
- SCIP-R trained
- CPR & First Aid Trained
