Job Summary
Assist consumers with developmental disabilities in skill development across independent living, adaptive behaviors, socialization, and activities of daily living. Supervise individuals in the community while reinforcing group session skills and ensuring safety. Lead group sessions to facilitate discussions that build community-ready skills. Assess the needs of lower functioning or non-verbal consumers through observation and evaluation to develop valued outcomes. Provide input to ensure compliance with the Individualized Service Plan and Day Habilitation Plan. Submit weekly documentation of outcomes and progress reports on annual and semi-annual cycles.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year experience providing direct care services to adults with a developmental disability
- AMAP certified
- SCIP-R trained
- CPR & First Aid Trained

- Associates Degree
