Job Summary
Ensure safety of program volunteers at primary agency sites, community volunteer jobs, and hub locations. Train volunteers to perform functional job tasks and act as a second staff support transporting them between sites. Serve as a liaison between volunteer job site staff and program volunteers, prompting appropriate peer interactions. Report success, satisfaction, and concerns to the Site Manager while documenting all activities. Monitor mandatory training attendance and sustain required certifications like CPR and SCIP. Enforce agency philosophies and guiding principles across all locations. Accompany certifications are sustained and scheduled per required timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Valid NYS Driver License
Desired Qualifications
- AMAP/First Aid/CPR/SCIP-R Training preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred
